Hello, my name is Shelby and I'm from Florida in the United States and as you can see, my footprint is below average for my region. I am getting close in the food section, however, so I do need to watch that and be more careful. I also drive a lot and that let me to the website http://www.fueleconomy.gov/. This is a website that provides information for almost any model of car and lists its fuel efficiency as well as its chemical emissions. Seeing this information and comparing cars to one another can make us vigilant in looking for a new or used, more fuel efficient vehicle. It also provides suggestions on how to cut back on environmentally harmful effects cars cause, which is a really cool feature.
I like that you included a link to help better other peoples habits. But I would like to know what you meant by watching your food section? What things will you be doing differently to make sure it does surpass your regions average?
Another way of reducing transportation could be to take public transportation if it is available. This would help cut it down even more
I am in the same boat as you. I do drive a lot and my footprint is below average. I like how you included the link. I find that I need to cut down on my transportation also. I have started to this last week and I have saved in gas money. There are a couple benefits to cutting down on transportation.
