Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
When I got the results of my carbon footprint, I wasn't very surprised, and I didn't disagree with any of the results. My transportation had the highest amount, with 7, 670 kgs. This is high because my family drives a lot during the week because of school and extra curricular. In addition, my family loves to travel, both in airplanes and car trips. My lowest amount was purchases, which was 343 kgs. After looking at all my results, I know that my transportation has to change to decrease my carbon footprint. I already carpool with friends to school everyday, but I can do more by biking or walking to places that are nearby instead of using the car.
