Juan Torres Carbon Footprint
My name is Juan, I am 16 years old and I am from Mooresville, North Carolina USA. My total carbon footprint was at 20,098 this was above the average for my region. A majority of my carbon footprint came from transportation. I like to travel a lot and drive long distances often. My results were what i expected and was not as surprised but i will have to work on traveling in a more efficient way. I will take action and find ways to travel in a more efficient matter and also try to not waste food as much by creating a system for eating.
My travel was also the highest amount in my total carbon footprint. I also travel a lot and drive long distances, in order to stop this I am hoping to begin carpooling and by using my dad's car, which gets better miles per gallon, thus reducing the amount of emissions.
Transportation is also my highest out of all of the categories. I also travel a lot and will try to find ways to reduce my transportation. I am going to try and start carpooling with people more often.
