North Carolina Carbon Footprint

My overall carbon footprint came out to be 22,176kgs which is a little higher than my region, but not higher than my class average. Transportation tops my carbon footprint at 9,568kgs because my family does all of the driving when we go on vacations, as well as traveling everywhere else. I was not really surprised with my results because of the amount of travel my family and I do, on top of all the electronics I use. I found out that I need to take care of my resources more from doing this carbon footprint. Also, I figured out how to reserve my pollution that I produce. To decrease my carbon footprint in the future, I can use less electricity, I can change my lightbulbs, travel less, and eat better food.
I also need to use less electricity. It's crazy how much electricity people use without actually using it.
My carbon footprint was not higher than my class average, either. I think the carbon that the usage of transportation releases is a big problem for all of us. But I don't think you need to travel less... traveling feels great. And what do you mean by "eat better food"? Does it mean that eating vegetables instead of meat?
I think changing your lightbulbs, traveling less, and eating better foods like not as much meat are great ways to decrease your carbon footprint.
