Carbon gasses
This carbon footprint challenge has helped to the insight of the way people use energy. Carbon is a major factor that contributes to Global Warming. Greenhouse gasses such as Carbon dioxide and methane gas trap the sunlight and keep it on Earth which warms the Earth’s surface. Greenhouse gasses are causing major temperature changes. Some major ways to see Global warming come from more wildfires and the melting of icebergs.
Wildfires have become more common because of Global Warming. The more the Earth heats the dryer it gets which leads to fires being easily started. But wildfires not only are caused by global warming but it also leads into another factor of global warming. The melting of icebergs. Wildfires are an example of how greenhouse gasses cause global warming.
Wildfires produce soot. The more fires equals the more soot. The soot travels to icebergs and land on them. As commonly known black attracts more heat rather than reflecting. The soot collects hea t from the sun which melts the icebergs. So if one thinks about it both wildfires and icebergs(which are both caused by global warming) are connected with eachother.
