Air Travel- Choose Economy Over First Class
Whenever my family and I travel by airplane, we always fly Economy class because it is the least expensive choice. Until recently, when we started talking about our carbon footprints and carbon emissions into the atmosphere in class, I did not think of other reasons to fly Economy. After some thought, I had some ideas about how if people always chose Economy, there would be several pros involved. The first and the most obvious reason is that Economy is way cheaper than First Class, so people/families can save their well-earned money and spend it on other important things. Second of all, First Class is more spaced out than Economy, so if everyone flew Economy, more people could fit on a plane and therefore the carbon footprint would be more spread out between all the people. We could save money and the environment at the same time!
I think that is a good start, but I don't think that First Class VS Economy Class has to do much with the carbon footprint because people would still be contributing to the whole carbon/climate situation just by using a plane. I definitely agree with the money situations and to spend money for more important stuff. What should we spend our money on instead?
