Ways to save water in the shower
One of the easiest ways to use less water in the shower is to shorten your showers! By shortening your showers you uses much less water than you would have in a 10 minute shower. Another easy way to save water is to put a bucket in your shower. This bucket can collect water and this water could be used for many things. At my girl scout camp, they uses the water from the water buckets to flush the toilets. Water can also be saved in the shower if you uses a simple process. First, you turn on the water and get wet to the point you need to. Then, turn off your shower will putting shampoo in your hair and washing your body. Once you're all soapy, turn back on the shower to rinse. This saves so much water, especially if you were to do all three at once(water bucket, short shower, minimum water use).
I agree. Once, when I was a hotel, I saw a shower that had an hourglass to set a goal to try to limit your shower to five minutes. I saw that and I was able to do it in that amount of time.
