Plane Travel

zackfig

In today's world planes cause a lot of carbon emission, but they are better than driving to that place. Flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles produces  365 lbs of CO2 while a car ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles produces 520 lbs. of CO2. So, in reality, taking a plane does less for the environment than a car, but unfortunately, it still has a large effect on the planet.

Even though a plane still harms our environment by emitting CO2, I feel like it's better than cars overall because planes can carry way more people and get to places quicker. A typical plane trip could have more than 100 people for one flight all headed towards the same destination. If all these people drove, the carbon emission would be much greater than what the plane emits. Both of these methods harm our environment, but planes help limit the amount of carbon emitted due to transportation.

This is true but plane tickets are sometimes more expensive for people and driving is some times the only option. But this is a excellent post and planes do still have a big affect on the environment.
