Policies and the Common Idea of Climate Change

With the recent American election, the idea of what politicians and a large fraction of Americans think about climate and change and more importantly----is it real and is it man-made? Most climate scientists would agree that yes it is real and man-made (in fact most studies show its around 90% to 100% agree, https://www.skepticalscience.com/global … ediate.htm), but that does not carry over to what actual people think. Around 20% of adults in the US believe there is no evidence for climate change and 31% believe it's by natural causes (http://www.pewinternet.org/2016/10/04/p … cientists/). Overall, almost fifty percent of adults believe in man-made climate change, which is a huge step forward.

Having the American president not believe in climate change (and not recognizing the difference between weather and climate) is a ginormous issue. He's out president and is signing the policies that will effect one of the most influential countries in the world. It's a problem!
Education is key to all of this, and we need to educate the people who actually make the policies that climate change is a real issue that can and will stab us in the back one day. We need to educate President Trump so he can make better choices about our future.
