Things from the quiz that made me think twice

BoneaMaria

Instead of saying that we all should unplug our electronics when we don't need them, or wonder HOW did I get such a big number (mine was under average) and other things you surely have read before, I'm going to say something else.
When I did my carbon footprint, I was surprised to see that using the internet is causing troubles to the planet, but I knew that I
wasn't using so much of it, and that companies and industries were using tons. But maybe, if even half of us tried to limit themselves
to 1 or 2 GB (which I think is enough, even though I use more.. smile and I'm also going to try to change that) we could make a difference.
Another thing that I feel like pointing out is bags. They can also make a pretty big difference, as suggested in the quiz, in the
situation of bringing our own bags while buying in stores and malls, and here is how I get to my point. People don't recycle anymore, they don't reuse things, or use things at second hand or so, because it's not ''cool'' anymore. They are ashamed to walk in the mall with an empty
bag that isn't from a brand in their  hands, and they are ashamed to tell the cashier  to put their new clothes in their bag that was brought from home, because other people think it's uncommon and weird.
Through the years, me and my family invested in this problem and purchased a solar panel that heats the water that we use.
My carbon footprint was under the average number from Romania, where I live, but I still feel like I could do better. All of us can do better, and now is the time.
