Wind Power
Why can't there be more wind-based products?
Wind is a very reliable source of energy on the earth. Even though it is not always consistent, once it is there it could be very useful. When it is up and running it could be used for a lot more than generating machines. With the technological advances rising, I believe the next generation or this one could come up with more ideas to take the use of wind more seriously. It could be incorporated in more things than machines in our economy.
WInd is a great source of energy for the world, and should be used as an energy source more. However, the most popular wind based product, the windmill, costs about two million dollars which is very costly.
and unachievable for almost everyone
I agree with your analogy on wind power and it being a very reliable energy source. Although it is very costly, it is a major energy source that does not contribute to harmful gas emissions into the atmosphere. Also, it would be very helpful to the environment if big corporations did use windmills instead of fossil fuels such as coal.
I agree that wind power is a very reliable source of energy on earth. I wish that more people could recognize this because recourses are dwindling and renewable forms of energy like wind power, the sun, and water are the only was to have a sustainable future. The great thing about wind power is that it is a completely natural way of getting energy, and it does nothing to negatively affect the environment. The only problem with wind power is that wind turbines are very expensive to build, and the wind does not always blow. Even so, wind power is ultimately a great energy source compared to renewable recourses, for wind power is effective and it is the best choice for a sustainable future.
Wow Emily, I totally agree. I want Mother Earth to be surrounded with more sources of clean energy, but why is it so expensive to make a windmill? I'd expect the cost to pay for itself in the future but it almost seems as if these all natural energy sources are too good to be true ![]()
I'm not saying we should go back to driving horses like Romeo did in Shakespeare, but lowering the cost to make a wind turbine would surely help.
I agree that wind power is a useful source of energy. It is considered renewable since wind never ends, and it is an eco-friendly fuel we can use to power our everyday lives. Wind is a much cleaner, healthier alternative to fueling the needs of humans than fossil fuels or coal. I have no clue why it is so expensive to make windmills, they don't seem very inconvenient. Also, wind is a very intermittent fuel, depending on the day or week, there could be no wind at all.
