Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

My Carbon Footprint
Looking at my own Carbon Footprint, I saw that my family and I wasted so much energy in transportation and in electricity. Although we try our best to save energy, I feel as though we don't do enough in order to lower our carbon footprints. Just the little things can lower our carbon footprints such as turning the lights off, or taking shorter showers, or even carpooling. The little things add up even though we may not know it. This is what I have learned from this project that from flying to just not turning the lights off in your home, they add up to be a huge thing in your carbon footprint. I will try my best to lower my Carbon Footprint in order to make a change in this earth, and it can start with the little things such as turning the lights off in my home or even carpooling.
Yes, I totally assert your points. To improve the situation immediately, it is vital to improve our behaviors right now, such as reducing the times we turn on air-conditioners. Definitely these actions would compromise the comport of our lives, but without air-conditioners, people do live more healthily. It is really emergent to try our best in order to decrease the emission of carbon.
