Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

going vegan DAY 2:

elenaeusa

Today is the second day in my 5 day vegan diet.  I can honestly say that this is one of the most challenging things I have ever done.  There are LOTS of things that I didn't even know weren't vegan.  I can say that it's very challenging; however, I really think that in the long run it will pay off and help the environment a lot.  I strongly encourage all of you to try this challenge if you think you all are up to it!

You had the regard to decrease the carbon footprint that is great, by the way you should be careful not to hurt yourself. Nice to meet you smile
