Water is good for you, right? Yes, water is essential to all humans, and we need to drink enough of it to stay alive. Bottled water however has its pros and cons. Millions of gallons of oil are used up each year to provide bottles of water to everyone, and eighty percent of these battles are thrown away after use. This is because they are in such high demand, and people are forgetting to recycle. I am personally a huge fan of bottled water. I play sports so they are very easy to bring with me to school or anywhere really. In try to drink about two liters of water each day to stay hydrated. This translates into about five or six water bottles per day. I drink more than most people do, so I especially need to find alternate ways of getting my water. The problem however does not involve just me. All of us contribute to the waste produced by water bottles, and we need to realize the affect it is having on our environment. Instead of drinking water from bottles, we should keep refillable containers with us, or if worst comes to worst refill an empty water bottle. The solution  to this is so simple, so it is hard to figure out why people like me don’t work to fix it. It may be because bottled water is slightly more convenient, which I do believe is true, but even though filling up water containers takes a little bit more effort we should all get in the habit of doing it if we want to keep our earth.
