My carbon footprint is 16,097 kgs. Is that total below average, above average, or about average? This is above average, which stands at 15,918 kgs for North Carolina and about 3,791 kg worldwide. The majority of my carbon footprint is home. I was actually surprised to see that my carbon footprint was around the average for North Carolina. I had expected it to be higher, but I think that it was lower partially due to purchases. My food was also lower than I thought it would be. To help decrease my carbon footprint, I can make a conscious effort to conserve energy.
I think your point is right.We cannot live without the carbon footprint.So we should do something to save the problem.
I am similar to you, i also thought my food will be higher, but it is not, because my transport is higher than the average, so i should realize the importance of the carbon footprint.
