Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

The reality of our Carbon Footprints
After I did the test, I realized that my Carbon footprints were higher than I thought. I did a list where I wrote my daily routine. Then, I related my pollution with my efforts to be green. I got that if we want to be below the average, we may live near to the school, the restaurants, and places we go frequently. We can reduce our emission of pollutants –including C02-, but the average is based in people who either live near to his or her job, or can transport ecologically in the city. We do not have to focus on be below the average, we may focus on the practical changes we can do to our daily routine. We are not exactly a green company, so we do not have to fill high requirements. We are regular students making a difference in our school and community. We want to leave a soft Carbon footprint in the Earth, but we have to be reasonable with the measures to reduce pollution emissions.
