Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Human activity is changing world's climate

alevega99

Every activity we do causes contamination, even when we breath we're contaminating the world, this contamination can be really small or immeasurably big and dangerous. We all have a Carbon foothprint that contaminates the world. Those activities can change the way that the weather behaves, we're witnesses of this changes each day. With our actions we're making a big change in our global ecosystem that is Earth. We're responsible for a big percentage of changes that the world's climate actually presents, and we're completely responsible for all the consequences that this changes bring us. What we have to do is to reduce our Carbon foothprint...how can we do this? Well, all changes have to start in our hauses, with really small actions we could make a big change, we also have to inform our parents abut environment's actual situation and about all the pollution that our family makes. If we do this, we'll aware ourselves and our families to make changes in our routines and reduce our family's carbon foothprint
