Im from Iceland and I would like to know more!!
Hi my name is Nokkvi and I live in Laugarvatn, Iceland. In Laugarvatn( a small village) most of the houses use Geothermal energy. But most of the farms and summerhouses use electricity to heat up the houses. My carbon footprint was above average, the average in Iceland is 7.9 tons per capita. Also we have an volcanic eruption in Iceland in a place called Holuhraun and it's really interesting. But I would love to hear from someone else around the world and lets discuss!!!!
Hi Nokkvi! I'm Victoria from Florida in the United States. Here we average 13,115 kg CO2 per person per year. That's a crazy number! I don't know a whole lot about living "up north" where it's cold, but I do know most of the heating options are electric or gas heaters.
