My Carbon Footprint
It did not surprise me that the amount of carbon emitted in transportation was greater than the average person. I travel to many places by plane multiple times each year, because I have family that live in different countries across the globe. But that wasn't the only reason why my transportation was so high. The transportation was also emitting copious amounts of carbon, because I live 12 miles from my school. This would conclude in the round trip being 24 miles total. If I use a carpool, then 12 miles of carbon will not be emitted. There are multiple families who live in the same area that I do; this idea could decrease all of our carbon footprints.
