Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Take Public Transportation In Stead of Driving!
Hi! My name is Irvin and I'm from China. When a car drive pass you, I believe you can see the gas that exhaust from the bottom of the cars, they are mostly carbon dioxide, which is what will cause global warming. Also, these gases were formed by gasoline, which is unrenewable resource. So let's reduce our usage of gasoline! Let's take the public transportation instead of driving! That's saving our lives!
I agree on your idea to use more public transportation more often. Even when we carpool in vehicles together, it is still impacting the environment more than if we take public transit. The emissions from a vehicle that go into the atmosphere are extremely harmful to the ozone and in return can have damaging effects to humans and our health.
I agree with you a hundred percent on reducing our usage of gasonline. Me and my friends are really big on carpooling when either going the same direction or same place. It is bad that the emissions from cars which most people use everyday is what is harming the ozone.I think we should spread more awareness and share with others how cars can affect the earth we live on.
