Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Make The World A Better Place
It is time to get to the bottom of carbon footprint facts and statistics. We are often inundated by opinion and political views that skew the real facts behind our carbon footprint. Surely it would be great to buy a hybrid vehicle or start a vegetable garden or invest in greener kitchen appliances. But many of us do not have time or interest for such things. But you may be surprised to know that there are simple actions that we can take to reduce the value of carbon footprint, which can be accomplished in less than 5 minutes. Like turning lights off when you leave your room, using public transport instead of personal, practising afforestation and many more .
Every year on April 22, millions of individuals across the globe come together and celebrates Earth Day. Earth Day helps us remember that the health of our planet is our collective responsibility and if we can make smarter, greener choices everyday we can help make our world a better place for future generation .
