But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Climate Change is Real, But Humans Aren't The Cause
One of the largest debates circulating around the globe, specifically the U.S, is climate change and whether or not humans affect that. My view on climate change is that it is a natural process of the world, but humans do affect it. The world has been changing completely even before humans even existed, but at a slower rate -- Earth was once nothing more than an uninhabitable globe in space with temperatures higher than most organisms could ever survive in. Over time, however, that changed and now the planet is suitable for humans and other organisms to live in.
Climate change is real, the world and its atmosphere changes, and it is not mostly human-caused. The human population -- mainly America due to our use of resources and other carbon-releasing "habits" -- affects climate change a noticeable amount in terms of speed of such change, but simply too significant to be the main cause.
Events such as the icecaps melting was bound to occur sometime in life, but hu mans simply sped up the process. It's the way of nature for the Earth to change and humans are only slightly contributing to it. We're not the main cause, but we could do something to keep Earth the way we have it.
Yes I agree though some of it is our fault. With all the factories and pollution we put in the air
To me, by saying humans speed up the process of climate change, it is basically saying we are catalysts for global temperatures slowly rising. However, I do agree that humans are significant contributors to climate change, but I am also a believer that humans are the main cause. For example when the use of chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's), found in emissions of refrigerators, was discovered to be tearing small holes in the ozone layer, they were immediately altered and were no longer a bi-product of refrigerators. Now, just recently have scientists discover our ozone is slowly recovering. This small, yet significant discovery supports the idea that humans are a cause of climate change on Earth.
