Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Human's Play a Part in Climate Change, But There are Other Factors

Climate change is an extremely controversial topic, some people believe that it is only human caused, some people believe that it is a natural causing the climate change, and some people believe it's not real, and that the Earth is just moving into a different phase in the it's temperature cycle.
One cause of climate change is, yes, humans release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Over a quarter of carbon dioxide released by humans are let out by burning fossil fuels to power modes of transportations like trains, cars, and air travel; also shipping products using trucks, boats, and air shipment. And that's just one quarter. Greenhouse gases are needed to regulate temperatures on Earth by trapping heat inside the Earth's atmosphere. When greenhouse gases are emitted by humans, more greenhouse gases then are needed are contained in the atmosphere. More greenhouse gases means that more heat will be trapped in the atmosphere. This proves that humans are at least one of the causes of the changing climate.
Another reason for a changing climate comes naturally. One example  of this is that when large-scale volcanic eruptions occur, many particles are released into the atmosphere. These particles block the heat from the sun from Earth, making it so very slight cooling can occur. But because these particles are not a part of the atmosphere, they eventually have to descend; allowing the heat to enter the atmosphere unhindered which raises the temperature. Both of these changes in temperature occur naturally.
Climate change is a definite occurrence and is not a myth. I learned that not only can climate change from human release of carbon dioxide, but also climate change can come naturally.
