In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Of Course It's Real and Here's How Humans Come in to Play
Throughout Earth's relatively long history, the climate has gone through warm periods and cold periods over long stretches of time. So, the earth is heating up. That's normal, right? Well, yes and no. While our Earth is currently going through/going into a warm period, Humans are causing the rate of climate change to increase immensely. Over the past 100 years, the Earth's average surface temperature has increased by 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit or about 0.555 degrees Celsius. Several graphs on "climate.gov" show that this is actually a very dramatic change over a short period of time compared to other periods where the Earth's temperature was naturally rising. The EPA predicts that in the next century, the average surface temp. will increase 2 to 11.5 degrees fahrenheit. So how are humans accelerating the Earth's heating process? The EPA explains that the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industry release carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The Carbon dioxide then traps energy in the atmosphere, causing it to increase in temperature. This is a natural process, but the excess amounts of carbon dioxide and other "greenhouse gases" cause the temperature to go up more than it should. So, yes Humans are a cause in climate change and we must act now if we want to fix the problem we've created.
I find it quite interesting that Earth's surface temperature can increase by that much in such a short time. I agree completely that our actions are at fault for the increased amount of greenhouse gases. Most people are aware that the Earth has been getting warmer but most do not know what we can do to stop it. I believe we should educate people about how to reduce their release of excess carbon dioxide so that we can enjoy our planet as long as possible because if we continue on the path we are on, then we won't have the earth around for much longer. Action and education are the only way to stop this problem we have created.
Humans have definitely affected the natural process of climate change, and if we don't find a way to fix the situation and help the Earth there will be extreme consequences. I agree that the best way to help the Earth is to educate the public about climate change and what we need to do to stop it. There have been conflicts over climate change in the past and deniers have made arguments that humans are not the main cause of climate change. Because of the general disagreement, some of the public may be confused about the cause of climate change, or they may not even know that humans have a huge impact on it. The only way to let people know what we are doing and how to fix the situation is to educate them so they can take action.
I agree that humans have an effect on global warming. However, it is also nature's doing that is causing this change. During the eocene of Earth, rose an extra 9 degrees over a period of time. Now that temperature has come down 18 degrees Fahrenheit since. Humans are definitely contributing to the temperature change but it's been proven that the Earth can do much worse without humans ruining it. However, humans should be helping trying to fix it by lowering their amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere by them.
