Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Electric Cars, The Cars of the Future

danield3

The Earth is getting warmer because of us humans. We are the main cause of global warming. The only way to stop it is to significantly reduce the amount of CO2 we release into the air. Over the past 60 years, the Earth has been getting a lot warmer due to CO2 pollution in the air. We might be digging our own grave and possibly even wipe out the human race in a couple hundred years. However, if we lower or CO2 emissions, then we might just be in luck. A great way to start would be to use electric cars.
Using electric cars would reduce the amount of carbon dioxide humans release. So many people in the United States and in the world own cars. Most of which are gas cars that release carbon dioxide. If technology advances quickly, we all soon will drive electric cars. It has virtually no carbon dioxide emissions and will not pollute the environment. Electric cars are the cars of the future.
