But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Glaciers Melting
We have been facing this problem for several years the glaciers in Greenland melting, recently during 2012 the Greenland glacier melted chunks approximately twice the size of Manhattan. Why is this ice melting at such a rapid pace? It has been said that the Arctic is warming faster than any other place in the world. Scientist have talked about soot from wildfires contributing to the ices rapid melting periods, because the soot travels to the glaciers it slowly heats the ice because the amount of sunlight on the ice is increased. Other contributing factors could include pollution from coal fired power plants We have contributed to the climate change that we’re currently faced with. The climate change is quickly heating the Arctic and as a result the glaciers are breaking down and melting. there are a couple things we could do to help our planet restore its health such as not supporting these bigger companies that don't uses good energy and pollute our earth. We c an change the way we live and help our planet thrive.
