In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Hi, my name is David S. I'm a student from Oakland High and in this discussion, I would like to talk about climate change. Over the course of history, the Earth has experienced many cold and warm temperature changes. But those temperature changes happened over long periods of time. This time, the Earth has been heating up faster than usual and we are to be blamed. We have been careless and producing large amounts of CO2 which is heating up our planet. This heat is causing glaciers to melt and flood the ocean causing sea levels to rise. What can we do about this? Well first things first we should bring attention to climate change. Start by posting it on social medias or making signs about the effects of climate change. We could reduce our CO2 levels by walking or biking to work, unplugging out electronics when they're fully charged or not being used, etc. We are the main cause of this problem but we can also put an end to it.
