Buses
It is very difficult to reduce your ecological footprint in an area that does not provide much support in the area. My town in particular makes it very easy for residents to recycle, but does not provide much in the way of buses or public transportation. I think the reason for that is, most people wouldn't use them. If everyone around you is being wasteful, you're more likely to be wasteful as well. So in my case, I recycle quite often but I can't take public transportation (which is what I would like to do) because my town does not provide it like it should.
