The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

It is Real
I am convinced that climate change is real because of the evidence that has been presented to me. I have been shown the hole in the ozone layer, and the only known cause is humans and our pollution. Also, with over 7 billion people on Earth, we must be making an impact. Looking at how our climate has warmed with the increase in population has really affected my views as well.
I feel the same way. For the past 100 years, the earths pollution rates have skyrocketed. This has all been due to modernization and industrialization. Knowing this, the majority of the climate change is probably due to humans.
The evidence can be found in biomes where a cold climate is necessary for the inhabitants to live and survive.
Honestly, this doesn't even need to be a discussion. Anyone on this site knows that climate change is real.
As you said, 7 billion people do make a big impact on the environment, but imagine if even half that amount united to try and fix the environment. We would be able to make incredible improvements and possibly turn around the negative direction we are headed entirely.
I agree with Nick, 7 billion people puts a strain on our Earth and if all of those people helped we could be in a different situation. In general, the problem is how many people Earth supports. In a BBC article (http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20160311 … ly-support) "The analysis showed that household consumers are responsible for more than 60% of the globe's greenhouse gas emissions, and up to 80% of the world's land, material and water use." People are using too much of the resources.
