I believe that Climate Change is very controversial; however. I do believe that Climate Change is false because it happens gradually and is NOT man made, last winter, Britain had one of it coldest winters. It was almost as cold as Britain in 1963.

You have a point of view - that's fine.  You need to cite some studies to back up what you are saying.  That's the scientific method.

On the other side is the fact that the 10 hottest years on record were all in the last 20 years.  In the US, this July and August were both the hottest of those two months ever recorded.

Thats right guys, his name is actually  Jason Hodin and some of you might know him as Jason. He has a HUGE fan base with approximately 0 subscibers and guys I just don't know what to say about this one...

I do take it seriously, because I think it's the most critical issue facing humans today.  We joke about it and ignore it at our own peril (and the peril of countless humans and non humans).  You can call that passive aggressive - I call it truth.

What does the rate of climate change have to do with it being real or not? Additionally, what is your evidence of climate change being false? Britain may have experienced its coldest winter because of changes to the regular weather patterns of that area as a result of humans' toxic and carbon producing activities. Human activities like deforestation and burning fossil fuels, along with many other activities, have increased the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by more than a third since the Industrial Revolution ("Climate Change," 2016). Naturally, this increase does raise the temperature of the earth, as carbon dioxide molecules, and other green house gases,  absorb and trap the heat of the sun. Therefore, the more CO2 and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the more heat is absorbed and trapped on earth. I understand that you reference Britain's cold winter in an attempt to undermine the reality of climate change and global warming, but in fact, global warming can cause colder, more extreme weather conditions in different areas. For example, as the heat of the  earth increases, the Arctic ice sea caps melt. Arctic ice covers play an important role in the circulation of the ocean, and when they are altered, the ocean circulation is altered, which can change climate not only on a global scale, but also on a regional scale ("It's Cold," 2015). This could explain why some areas, such as Britain, have experienced colder winters.

Climate change is a very controversial topic all over the world. There are so many unanswered questions on the topic and a lot of ignorance about it among our population. This is why students should be hyper aware of this problem to be able to educate more and more people on it. According to https://ncse.com/library-resource/climate-change-101, over the past 150 years our temperature has been increasing which is not only bad for our enviroment, it is hurting animals too. Because of the global warming, ecosystems are being destroyed and species are becoming extinct. In my opinion, it is real and human caused. With more and more technology, more and more waste is being produced by humans all over the world. Also, the amount of oil spills is increasingly high which is causing species among marine life to become scarce. It’s hard to say that climate change and global warming is not real after looking at the facts presented by scientists all over the world.

    There are people all over the world have been looking for answers to stop the climate from increasing, and few have fo und small solutions. Some people even found a way to sue corporations for causing global warming because it is affecting the growing young population. I think it is hard to blame all of the global warming on businesses even though a lot of it is their fault because they could not be producing this much waste from technolog if the public did not demand it. My belief is that global warming is real, and humans are the cause of the high increase. It’s true that temperatures have varied over the years, but never as much as they are right now. The website http://ipcc.live.kiln.digital/ states that temperatures have risen the percentage of about 1.3 degrees fahrenheit since the industrial revolution, and by the year 2070, it could increase from a range of 3.5 to 7.4. The safety limit for percentage increase is 3.6 fahrenheit. If we go over that limit, then natural disasters will become more sever, including droughts, floods, and wildfires.
The main human caused reason for global warming is when we use electricity. The website https://www.epa.gov/ghgemissions/source … as-emissio says “Approximately 67 percent of our electricity comes from burning fossil fuels, mostly coal and natural gas.” Using electricity releases more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, including methane, carbon dioxide, and nitrous oxide. When heat comes into our atmosphere, the greenhouse gases trap it, and as more gases are released into the at mosphere, more heat is trapped. The hotter it is affects the amount of water in the air, so as it becomes hotter, more water evaporates.
