My older sister has just graduated college and is deciding to go into a career in Environmental Law. She is very into saving our environment and preventing the worsening in global warming. However, my grandma is convinced that global warming cannot be prevented and isn't really "real". She thinks that the Earth just fluctuates in temperature on its own, and that's there's nothing we can do. Here are sources of real scientists claiming that Global Warming is really real:

I have no way of knowing just how credible these sites are, but the information seems pretty believable.
I believe that regardless of whether or not Global warming is real, that we still h ave a duty to protect animals and environments that are suffering due to the increase in temperature. Regardless of whether is a man-made issue, it's important that we protect our environment.

I totally agree with you. Some people think global warming is fake. Even if it was fake, we still need to protect nature. I think that global warming is caused by humans and all the pollution we cause. Factories also cause a lot of pollution. We can prevent climate change ourselves.
The greenhouse effect, using carbon dioxide can trap heat which contributes to climate change. A lot of people are into helping the earth but we need more people and more action. Since plants absorb peoples carbon dioxide, we need more plants.

The scientists who are studying the Earth say that, the global temperature has been increasing since the last 150 years. 2015 was the warmest year on record. The amount of hazardous weather, such as droughts, floods, and, hurricanes has risen significantly. A large amount of scientists agree that these changes are caused by many greenhouse gas emitted and  the burning of fossil fuels. President Obama decided to joined leaders from more than 190 countries who were working towards negotiating an international climate change agreement. This was the largest gathering of world leaders in history, attempting to reduce the amount of carbon emitted into the air to prevent or slow down global warming.

Global warming will have many different effects on society and on the natural world. Plants and animals are going to adapt to changing environments by moving to new areas. As plants and animals move, they bring diseases with them, which will be spread to farms and other populated areas. As some plants and animals become extinct, because of the cause climate change and the actions  that humans cause destroying or intoxicating habitats. Higher temperatures will make wildfires a greater risk on farmers and etc.. Melting polar ice will cause sea levels to rise, and because of that coastal cities will be endanger of floods.

The thought of global warming has become a huge problem in our world today. Our actions have caused an overall increase in our carbon emissions, this has lead to significant effects in our community, health, and climate. In order to address the threat of global warming before this disaster grows even larger the world must reduce their daily carbon emissions to a minimal. According to the Union of Concerned Scientists, “The number of large wildfires is growing. Dangerous heat waves are becoming more common. Extreme storm events are increasing in many areas. More severe droughts are occurring in others.” These natural disasters have been occurring all across the world due to the increase in climate, and these natural disasters will continue to become more severe until our society lowers their Co2 emissions. Furthermore if people are taught about their average Co2 emission, how it affects the environment, and how to lower their count overall not only will their actions make the world a better place, but it will help them have healthier lifestyle and benefit them as well. 

The main debate about the theory of global warming is what is main cause of this phenomenon? Though the truth is that humans in general are the main cause of global warming, as a whole humans are imputing a lot of Co2 into the world's atmosphere, which then absorbs heat and which gradually increases the temperature. The majority of the carbon dioxide released is from most of our non-environment friendly energy sources such as coal, natural gas, and oil. There are several solutions that will help to lower carbon emissions and help our environment before global warming gets worse. First of all people with a large influence in the community must work to encourage or even enforce people to lower their average carbon emission, this will make people more aware to the thought that if they didn’t try to lower their own amount of CO2 released there could be consequences. Secondly the Union of Concerned Scientists states that deforestation is a huge issue when it comes to global warming and adds up to ten percent of the CO2 that is trapped in the atmosphere, this is because plants store CO2 within themselves in order to grow and when our population decides to cut down those plants during deforestation all of the CO2 that was stored in that plant is released into the environment. Overall there are many ideas that need to be enforced to reduce the amount of C)2 released into the atmosphere daily, and help save our planet from the issue known as global warming.
