The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Ways to #SAVEtheEARTH
There are many ways to "save the earth". Fro instance water conservation, reducing green house gases, recycle, etc. Water conservation: Turning off the water while you brush your teeth, fixing leaks, a leaky toilet alone can waste approximately 200 gallons of water a day. Reducing green house gases: Staying off the road two days a week can reduce green house emissions by an average of 1,590 pounds per year. Also walking, riding, biking, etc, to your destination reduces green house gases. Recycle: your able to reduce pollution just by putting sorting your landfill from recycle.
Yes, I agree. Climate change is real and is happening. If people do not take charge, it will just be getting worst. Any person if willing to put in effort and do work, can help make this world a better and a safer place for everyone now and in the near future. Since burning greenhouses gases is the biggest contribution to why climate is changing, using energy sources that do not release greenhouses gases is just the first step to helping climate change. According to Climate Change 101, even if all greenhouse gasses stopped today, it would take years and years before temperatures, rainfall, and other human-caused effects change.
The actions families and students take towards this problem will help. By switching to energy that does not release greenhouse gases, increasing the energy efficiency in homes and building, to even driving less will help contribute to helping climate change. Climate Change 101 already has communities implementing adaptation strategies. Communities have been taking actions such as building sea walls and moving away from unsafe coasts to help sea levels rise and also transforming crops and using drip irrigation for farming. Sometimes actions such as these are too big and not accessible for some but if that is the case, activities such as not driving as much or recycling can help just as much. Climate change is and will affect every part of society and if it does not get stopped soon, it will make matters worse.
