The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Climate Change?
Climate Change is a real problem that is becoming a bigger threat as time passes by. Climate change is created because of the greenhouse effect, but also because of humans and all the pollution we create with our cars, houses and more.
How is Climate change occurring and affecting people? Climate Change is a huge issue we are having. Gases such as carbon dioxide and methane are released or in the atmosphere affecting the climate or earth, in this case causing our climate to rise. On KQED News, the Lowdown, scientists performed an experiment, in the video Climate 101 with Bill Nye, to see if carbon dioxide really does affect our climate. They had a control group of earth underneath a heat lamp in a jar and an experimental group of earth under a heat lamp in a jar, with carbon dioxide pouring into it. They indeed concluded, climate is very greatly affected by the gasses produced unnaturally as well as naturally higher the temperature of our climate.
Climate 101, with Bill Nye also states that the warmer the air gets the more moisture is in the air, and water vapor is a greenhouse gas. This leads to more evaporation of water, lack of water, melting of glaciers, more precipitation, more extreme weather, and so much more. All in all climate change is happening and it's is a problem we have to deal with, an d planning on what our next move will be to try and reduce the rising of Earth’s temperature. A significant quote from KQED new, Climate 101 with Bill Nye is “… Humans create 35 billion tons of carbon dioxide a year.”
Why does this happen? The majority of our carbon dioxide is from electricity, manufacturing, transportation, and industry. We need to reduce this amount. Some ways you can reduce the amount of carbon dioxide you release are to always turn off lights, computer, and any electronic device. Also try walking, riding a bike, or carpooling.
