The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Solutions to drought
California is suffering from major drought, and the last couple of years have been the most severe in state history. As a result, we all need to conserve water and advocate,to protect our water in the future.In California the water system has been cut off completely for the for the first time in history. This drought is preventing salmon from spawning. Some are blocked out of their creeks by sandbars. Here are some ways that water usage can be cut down outdoors,use a broom instead of a hose to clean your driveway, garden with native species,use mulch to reduce evaporation, till your soil so it absorbs more water. These are some ways you can cut water usage indoors, check faucets and pipes for leaks,take short showers, run the dishwasher only when it's full, when washing your hands turn the water off while you moisturize them. Also another way to to reduce the large amount of drought that we are in it needs to rain a lot. I say this because when it it rains there is so much water that is released and that is what California needs. I say it needs to ra in for all of winter at least the next two years heavily.
