The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Climate Change
Climate change is definitely happening. Humans are playing a big role in causing it too. According to an article I read, (http://oceanservice.noaa.gov/education/ … whuman.pdf), humans are emitting greenhouse gasses such as ozone, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and halocarbons. These greenhouse gasses are emitted through our transportation, deforestation, as well as other natural processes such decay of plant matter. They also occur naturally in wetlands.
These greenhouse gasses change incoming solar radiation and outgoing thermal radiation. This can leads to the warming or cooling of the Earth.
I agree, climate change is caused by the greenhouse gases, and will have a big effect on the world. Pollution will cause extinction and endangerment of animals species. The weather will get hotter each year, and extreme storms will become more frequent. There are many ways to help prevent climate change and global warming. Many countries are trying to work together in order to achieve this goal. By reducing our CO2 emissions through food, transportation, and electricity, we can make climate change better.
The prominent cause of global warming, as CNN states in their video about the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, is the burning of fossil fuels, which creates greenhouse gases. The people who live in the areas with the most poverty will be most affected. Some results of climate change include water levels rising, extremities in weather, and endangerment of different animal species’. Many environments will change dramatically, and the people will need to adapt to where they live. In order to help decrease the effects of climate change, we need to decrease the amount of CO2 being produced.
There are many different ways to cut down on CO2 emissions. Most of the fossil fuel being burned and released into the atmosphere comes from factory productions. If the manufacturing in factories can be reduced, much of the CO2 being emitted will no longer be accumulating. Also, the majority of CO2 is made from electricity. Technology has become integrated into all of our lives, and the electricity used to keep our appliances running is causing major problems. Electrical uses can easily be reduced. Water, heating, and many more household functions can be minimized in order to help decrease the effects of climate change.
