The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?
I know that humans are the main cause of the amount of carbon dioxide produced in the atmosphere due to burning fossil fuels like coal, burning gasoline, Transportation vehicles, etc. But the fact of the matter is that yes, climate change is real from global warming and is human caused. I, like many others am the cause of the global warming and climate changes but it’s come to the point where we should no longer deny that climate change doesn’t exist like many politicians and corporations have claimed to deny.
Ever since the industrial revolution the increase of CO2 has increased immensely and Natural Gas are common and good within limited quantities but with the increase of gases climate change is more visible and present. We have produced a lot of greenhouse gases, which traps heat within our atmosphere and with the constant increase and production of CO2 the temperature increases and will continue to increase if we do nothing. We can’t get rid of the amount of greenhouse that has already been made but we can limit or red uce the amount of CO2 we produce currently with energy efficient methods and taking action.
My thoughts on how we can change this or take actions is to first realize that it is an issue and needs to be addressed which we can no longer ignore and understand that nothing is gonna change if you think someone else will fix it. I think that the fact of the matter is we have to make a difference. We have believed it’s a myth or have ignored the case the scientist have tried to tell us for so long and we now are dealing with the consequences. We many not be able to get rid of the damage we’ve produced with climate change, but we can delay the effects of it getting to extreme conditions. So I propose that we take action, reduce our waste, regulate corporations and factories to be more energy efficient, buy energy efficient cars or carpool, find other methods that will reduce everyone’s carbon footprint.
Conditions aren’t terrible now but when your children are older we want to leave this Earth in good condition for them. Think about the future.
