But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Climate Change and is it really caused by humans?
Climate change is happening around, you may not feel it but it is happening every single day. Media often portrays that climate change is a hoax but if you go to scientists, you will see that they have the cold hard facts to prove it is happening. The earth is heating up every day and that could impact a lot of the major cities. For example, if the polar ice caps no longer existed, a lot of cities near the water would flood. Humans are a large contributor to climate change but I don't think that is the number one cause. I think the number one cause is the raising and feeding livestock. The livestock takes in more water and food than all of the humans combined in the world. The cows, in particular, create a gas more damaging than carbon dioxide, they produce methane gas. When this gas is produced it thickens up the atmosphere faster.
