In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Climate Change is Real and Human Caused
I believe climate change to be real and that human have a big impact on it. Greenhouse gases, such as methane, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons, trap heat in the atmosphere and radiates heat back toward earth. The earth naturally maintains a sustainable system, but humans activities are changing the natural greenhouse. In the last century burning of fossil fuel such as coal and oil has increased the concentration of the atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2). This is happening because the coal and oil burning process combines carbon and oxygen in the air to make CO2. Other human activities like the clearing of land for agriculture, industry, as well as other human actions lead to the increase in concentration of greenhouse gases.
