But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Is Climate Change Real?
I do think that the climate is changing, partially from humans burning up fossil fuels but also from other aspects that aren't caused by humans. Humans create global warming by burning different types of fossil fuels. These fuels, when burned, create greenhouse gases that trap heat in our atmosphere. Climate changes are also naturally occurring on earth also. Before humans existed, the climate changed dramatically through different periods of time including ice ages. Climate change can't only be blamed on humans burning fossil fuels, but also the way the earth changes throughout time.
I do agree with you in a way. I believe that climate change is not just affected by human causes and that some natural change does occur but I believe that the speed and amount that our atmosphere is deteriorating by is mainly caused by human pollution over time. I do not think that natural causes would lead to our Ozone layer being depleted so badly or our polar ice caps melting at such a rapid pace.
I do agree with you that climate change is not entirely caused by humans but humans have promoted it by waiting to do something about it.
