In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Climate change is a real issue that is affecting us globally. Climate change kills reefs because when the temperature rises, many tropical fish die. Climate Change is also melting glaciers, rising sea levels and killing fish species. Science News states, “ In eastern Africa, Lake Tanganyika is warming relatively slowly, but its fish populations are plummeting, leaving people with less to eat.” This climate change is affecting our food sources, and will slowly lead to our demise. Climate change is also caused by humans, our use of factories releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. This traps the heat and leads to the warming of our planet.
