Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.
Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?
Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

Carbon Footprint Comparison
When calculating my carbon footprint I found that i was considerably below average for Washington state overall and in 3 out of 4 of the categories. the one data point was the astonishing amount of carbon I release just through my diet, I think the biggest cause for this was my choice in the survey that I was not vegetarian. How did your results compare and what was the biggest reason for the amount of carbon you emit?
Similar to your results my highest emit on carbon was food. I tend to eat more vegetarian meals rather than meat. My carbon footprint was actually below average in all of the categories. Although I feel that if you eat more organic and locally grown foods your carbon footprint could decrease even more!
