Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Climate change is a controversial topic that many people have different opinions on. Many people don't realize how big of an issue this is and how this will affect us in the future if we don't stop it. When we turn on the lights, use water, and drive to school, we increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the air. Higher levels of carbon dioxide cause temperatures all around the world to increase. Rising climates cause glaciers to melt, which is the reason of rising sea levels, and cause wildfires and storms. As the world heats up, more and more people will be affected by these effects. People acknowledge are aware of the effects that climate change has on our world but don't do much about it. There are many things that everyone can do in their daily lives to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide we emit. Examples of these are turning off your lights, turning off the faucet, and resorting to walking rather than public transportation. Instead of discussing about clima te change, we should be making a difference, even if it's on your own in your everyday lives.
