Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

I completely believe that climate change is real. According to https://climate.nasa.gov/causes/ , human activities have a huge impact on the greenhouse effect on the earth. Ever since the industrial revolution, greenhouses gases have increased, and this is caused increasing sea levels and warmer temperatures. However there some questions, such as "Are we causing the increase in hurricanes" and "What are ways we can stop the increase of temperature". I believe that our carbon footprints can help us understand what we can do to improve the well-being of the earth.

I also agree with you. Climate change is real and affecting the lives of many people. One very important example is the recent hurricanes. In the United States, there have never been so many category 3+ hurricanes in one season, with more storms starting weekly. If the earth's temperature continues to rise, it severe storms may become more reoccurring, threating many people's lives.
