In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Convinced of Climate Change
I am convinced of climate change because of all the evidence. It's very clear that climate change is real because we can see it effecting our weather right now with all of the natural disasters, such as Hurricane Harvey, which hit my home town of Houston very hard. According to NASA, "The current warming trend is of particular significance because most of it is extremely likely (greater than 95 percent probability) to be the result of human activity since the mid-20th century and proceeding at a rate that is unprecedented over decades to millennia." It makes sense that climate change would be caused by humans mainly because of all the pollution we cause in the environment.
