Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused?

The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.

But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?

In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

Human's impact on climate

I think that climate change is real, but not human based. If we look back to the evolution of Earth we will see that climate change existed even before human had an impact on it. In the last century, human has evolved a lot compared to another centuries. This started to scare us because now the climate is changing. Humans have impact on the speed it changes but the action is a natural thing. Humans do a lot of pollution which accelerates the process of changing. As we know climate change takes a lot of time to be done, but our actions did nothing more than speeding up the process. This process won't stop if we cut down pollution because it is a natural thing and it has to be done sooner or later, but we can slow down the process by reducing pollution and finding some solutions to recover what was lost. I also heard some solutions from scientists who try to make a chemical copy of the Ozone surface and patch the destroyed parts. I think that this will have a huge impact on the process because a principal factor is the distribution of sun's heat around the Earth and it con centrates too much heat at this moment so the water in the clouds raised a lot from a few years ago and it leads us to massive rains with huge thunders and lightnings and also hurricanes. Another major impact is more a political one, because the test of the bombs from North Korea does a lot of damage and natural diseases started to become a major problem resulted from these tests. Humanity has to put an end to the political tensions or it will lead us to more destruction than we can carry. Of course we talk about resources we will not be able to afford anymore which will put an end to our reality as we know it.
