But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?

Before I did research on climate change, I belived that It was all just a myth. But after learning about the topic in school and reseaching the topic I now believe that climate change is the result of both human and environmental actions. In an interview, Dr. Patrick Moore said, "“There is no scientific proof that human emissions of carbon dioxide are the dominant cause of the minor warming of the Earth's atmosphere over the past 100 years, perhaps the simplest way to expose the fallacy of extreme certainty is to look at the historical record.” In this interview he points out, " When modern life evolved over 500 million years ago, CO2 was more than 10 times higher than today, yet life flourished at this time. Then an ice age occurred 450 million years ago when carbon dioxide was 10 times higher than today." When I read this interview I realized that there is no way to say that just one thing has caused this. There is not enough information available yet to say whe ther or not climate change is human-caused or natural. I believe that it is a combination of both.
