The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?

There Are 2 Sides To Every Story
I believe that in order to make a complete argument you have to have viewed all sides of the claim for which you are arguing for or against. For example, if you were the judge for a murder trial, you wouldn't just listen to the accused person's side of the story. You would also have to listen to the witnesses and look at the evidence presented to you in court. Then you could make a final conclusion that has been proven with concrete facts. This is what I'm attempting to do with climate change. I'm using two sites, one that believes in climate change, while the other denies it. Both of these sites argue the myths of climate change. https://www.skepticalscience.com/ is the believer, and https://www.friendsofscience.org/ is the denier. Skeptical Science states that computer models are reliable and correctly reproduce temperatures since the 1900's globally. However, Friends of Science say that computer models are inaccurate because they use CO2 as their main driver, when 97% of earth's greenhouse gases actually consist of clouds and water vapor! Friend of Science states that the ground station network is unreliable and has not produced accurate temperatures because of placement. They say the stations have been placed next to growing industrial and urban areas also known as "heat islands", and that correcting the surface temperature record for the effects of urban development would reduce the reported warming trend over land from 1980 by half! Skeptical Science denies this by showing graphs stating that the temperature was the same in both urban and rural settings. As you can see there is evidence backing up both the deniers and believers of climate change, but there is one question we should all be asking ourselves. Which evidence is accurate and true? I even still would need to do a heck of a lot more research to answer that question.
I think that global warming is a thing for sure and that it would be better to help stop it then to research if it is real. Either way it is better to be catiouse and it couldn't hurt to reduce your carbon footprint
