Student Footprints

Students from around the world calculated their class mean and standard deviations for their footprints and posted them on our world map.

Do you see differences across the globe? If so, why do you think those differences exist?

Did you use the calculator to try to reduce your footprint down to the average from a citizen of another country? What changes would you have to make to lower your footprint in this way? Are you going to try and take some of these actions in your daily life?

I agree with you. Not a lot of people think about recycling and turning off items like that. I think I am going to try and turn off my laptop now at night.

I Agree With Turning Off The Devices To Save Energy, That's One Effective Way To Help Conserve Energy. I Try Turning Off Any Devices That Are Not Being Used At The Moment.

I agree with you especially with number 2. I don't think many people think of how much turning off your laptop at night can do. I also think people should try and unplug any chargers during the day that they may not be using and only leaving them plugged up when they need to.
