The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?
Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused? >
Climate Change is happening
Climate change is one of the biggest problems facing our environment. I agree with the majority of climate scientists. There is lots of evidence showing that our earth is heating up. Humans are burning fossil fuels on the daily which is emitting CO2 into the atmosphere. These fossil fuels are coming from transportation, factories, and so many other human activities.
I agree with you. All of the evidence is making climate change harder to ignore. We need to start taking action to save our planet. If we can cut back on our fossil fuel usage and use alternative energy sources, like wind or energy power, instead we might be able to reverse most of our negative impact and fix our mistakes.
Yes climate change is a problem that we need to be aware of. I agree that cutting off some of our fossil fuel usage can help with the changing of our weather.
