The ISCFC is all about reducing our individual and collective contributions to climate change.
But is climate change really happening? Is it mostly caused by human activity, including our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases?
In the United States and elsewhere, there are people who are not convinced by the science. But the great thing about science is that we use evidence to evaluate scientific questions. So what is the evidence related to climate change?
Are you or are you not convinced by the majority of climate scientists who say that climate change is real and largely human caused? Why are you convinced/not convinced? What evidence might change your mind one way or the other?
Is Climate Change Real & Human-Caused? >
Climate Change is man made.
For four hundred thousand years the CO2 levels had never reached 300ppm. By the year 1950, we had reached 300ppm. In the year 2018, CO2 levels have reached 408. If we keep polluting at the rate we are we will make climate change irreversible.
Individuals around the world are contributing but only 100 companies are causing 71% of the carbon emissions.
But if us humans stop using or significantly reduce our use of whatever those companies are doing we can make a change.
How can we bring down climate change or reverse it, and still have sufficient energy and transportation?
I think a way to bring down climate change and still have sufficient energy and transportation is to use solar and wind energy, and there are some trains that use electromagnets to get to the next stop.
this is epic and true!

I agree because before humans the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was pretty low but when humans came into existence the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has been increasing at an alarming rate.
What about phones? Phones use fossil fuels and it would be very difficult to exists without them. How would people talk to communicate? Businesses rely on technology. What can we do to replace phones (and other technology)?
Reuse, Reuse, Recycle!
